BioVitrum took part in the International scientific-practical conference "BIOTECHNOLOGY AND QUALITY OF LIFE" and the XII International Specialized Exhibition "Biotech World 2014"

From 18 to 20 March 2014 the Government of Moscow held the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Biotechnology and quality of life" and the XIII International Specialized Exhibition "Biotech World - 2014".

"Biotechnology: the current state and prospects for development." This event was organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Education and Science, Russian Academy of Sciences, Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and the Private Joint Stock Company "Expo-biochemical technology."
The main purpose of the event was to evaluate the scientific achievements in biotechnology , and identify practical recommendations for their use in improving the environmental situation and the quality and duration of human life.The total number of registered participants reached about 2,000 people from 30 regions of Russia and at least 20 other countries (USA , England , Belarus , Poland , Finland, Germany , Belgium, Kazakhstan , China, Czech Republic, Lithuania , Netherlands, Portugal , Ukraine). BioVitrum actively participated in the conference and during the specialized exhibition .

During the 3 days in the plenary and practical sessions there were 260 speakers and 130 lectures delivered.  Questions were discussed concerning: Medicine (Health) , agro-industry , environment and ecology , biomaterials , polymers in biotechnology and medicine.
