BioVitrum takes part in the IV Congress of the Russian Society of Pathologists

The congress took place at the Belgorod State University from 4-7 July.  Over 300 pathology specialists attended the event.

The organizers of the Congress were:

• Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation
• Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation
• Belgorod state national research university
• Department of health care and social protection of the Belgorod region
• Russian society of pathologists

Scientific research institute of morphology of the Russian Academy of Medical Science
Meetings, company presentation sessions, lectures and master classes for young specialists were included in the program of the event.  Participants of the congress discussed problems of morphological diagnostics of various diseases, including socially significant and infectious.  As well questions of the organization of pathoanatomical service and new technical capabilities of teaching in HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS were discussed.

The congress has become an All-Russian scientific forum of doctor-pathologists which has united experts from all regions of Russia as well as leading scientists of CIS countries and division heads of foreign firms – leading global manufacturers of pathology equipment and consumables.

Biovitrum’s display at the congress presented unique equipment – Russia's first multitouch Fimmic monitor (Finland), a diagonal 42 inch screen which allows users to view tissue at various angles.  A demonstration of joint diagnostics was carried out by several doctors.  Also at Biovitrum’s stand participants could examine superfast systems of scanning and archiving images of ScanScope CS (USA).
