"The pathomorphology school in Karelia" has become a significant event for the North Western region of Russia.  During the conference reports were given by leading pathologists of Russia: V.A.Tsinzerling, L.V.Kaktursky, and F.G.Zabozlayev.  Participants discussed diagnostics of socially significant diseases, mortality from cardiomyopathies, new technologies in diagnostics of lung pathology, specifics of the diagnosis and formation of autopsies with iatrogenic pathology.

BioVitrum’s leading expert in consumables for histology and cytology, Ya.O.Julia-Poykelus, acquainted the participants with the latest modern consumables and equipment for pathoanatomical offices and forensic bureaus.  The greatest interest was caused by microscopy tables with a passive anti-vibration system and from the set of consumables used for the identification of the age of fibrin.

It is difficult to overestimate the importance of this conference.  For the first time specialists of almost all regional offices of pathoanatomical service and forensic medical examination bureaus gathered together at the same conference to exchange knowledge and experience.
