BioVitrum held a seminar for laboratory-histologists in Kazan

The event took place on March 20 at the Pathology Department of the Interregional Clinical Diagnostic Center of Kazan as part of the cycle of trainings for technicians in Tatarstan.  About 25 participants took part.

The main objective of the workshop was to teach and prepare highly qualified histology technicians. During the discussions participants were able to exchange experience and become acquainted with new reagents, modern methods, innovative histo-technical solutions and ideas on how to improve the quality of laboratory. 

BioVitrum representatives and experts in consumables for histology and cytology - Yaana Olga Poykelus and Ilya Alilaevich - held an exhibition-seminar on working with modern features and consumables during their use in various stages of the histological process. The audience were presented histo-technical European standards, tools and materials developed in Japan, Germany and the United States which are able to not only improve the quality of diagnosis and save time, but also to improve the usability of the lab.

Special attention was paid in the seminar to basic errors that are made in the histology, and methods for their solutions, regardless of the degree of technical equipment and finance situation.
All participants received samples of various consumables and dyes : hematoxylin-eosin, Alcian blue, toluidine blue to detect H.pylori, etc.
